PROCESS CONTROL INSTRUMENT TECHNOLOGY DIVISION
INTRODUCTION
Instrument and Process Control is a full time program consists of 4 semesters. This skill course is received accreditation by the Department of skills development.Students will be given structured skills course based on NOSS S-030-2 Process Control Operation Technician Level 2, NOSS S-030-3 Process Control Operation Supervisor Level 3. The Learning method is based on 30% theories and 70% practical. Through this program, students will be highly skilled in process control, distributed control system (DCS), and field bus technology that are widely used in the oil and gas industry. Students are also exposed to knowledge related with instrumentation and process control documentation. Graduates in this field will be able to utilize their skills and talents in industries like the petrochemical, manufacturing, quarrying systems, palm oil refining, food processing, home-based products factories like detergents. They also can work in factories that involved competencies to control temperature, level, pressure and flow to ensure the process to achieved desired output and standards from each plant.
